The Thai animation (Thai: à¹à¸à¸™à¸´à¹€à¸¡à¸Šà¸±à¸™à¹„ทย) began after World War II when artist Sanae Klaikluen was asked by the Thai government to make a short animated cartoon that instructed Thai citizens to wear hats and farmers to wear boots.
