Aria is a Japanese monthly shÅjo manga magazine published by Kodansha. In April 2010 an announcement was made about plans for a new magazine; its first issue was published on July 28, 2010. The magazine is released in size B5 paper. The magazine targets a more mature audience of women between the ages of 16 and 22.
In 2013, Kodansha increased Ariaâ'âs print count by roughly 500% because of the demand for the prologue chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin: Kuinaki Sentaku, which was published before the serialization began.
