The Boston Online Film Critics Association (BOFCA) was founded in 2012, and its membership consists of a community of web-based film critics in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. In December of each year, the organization meets to vote on awards for films released in the previous calendar year for the Boston Online Film Critics Association Awards, which are given annually to honor excellence in cinema worldwide by an organization of film reviewers from Bostonâ€"based publications.
